Delivery in Gratitude

I’m grateful for pizza delivery today. How first world of me....le’sigh. But, I am not in the mood to put real clothes back on and go out in search of food. And I’ve definitely run out of edible food IN the house. There is food here. None of it edible. Well. Not true. There’s ramen. But no clean dishes to cook/eat it in. So. Dominos it is.

I came home and packed a few more boxes. But now I’m kind of at a standstill again. There’s bits and pieces of things everywhere and either the boxes are too big or too small or too flimsy…the struggle is real. I set up a FB event to invite people to come help me move. So far 3 out of 11 have responded. But a 4th will be the husband of one of the people who responded. And my sister said she thinks she has off, so that’s 5. Me makes 6. And. I have a week between the closing and the time I asked people to come help. So that’s a week’s worth of time (in between working) to get all the small crap that I can carry moved over there first. Then my friends can help with the big stuff. And I might be able to get a day or two off in that week. So. So hopefully this will all work out as I’m planning.

Hell, I guess I should first hope that closing actually takes place on the 5th....cuz that’s what all the plans are based around. heh. Oi vey.

Work today was very slow and quiet. Which the quiet was good. The slow was annoying but also good. I’d rather slow and quiet than loud and chaotic, certainly.

Woot. A guy who has stuff in my attic finally got back to me about getting it before I move, so I don’t have to lug it to the new place and then have it sitting around until he has time to get it. He’s going to come on Saturday, which I will be at an art show most of the day, hopefully selling some of my work, as I have TOO MUCH of it just hanging around. Not to mention the extra money would be nice. If I could just figure out how much to charge for it. I’m thinking 25 each. Which is crazy cheap for a framed piece of art. But I’d rather sell them than have them sitting in my basement for the next 30 years. So. 25 it just may be.

Woot, my pizza is on its way. I think I will watch another episode of The Fall while I eat. And then maybe attack the packing some more....
