Joana came down for dinner yesterday. We had pisgetti and salad with Paul Newman’s dressing and cranberries. Ice cream for dessert.
-
Kids had Thanksgiving at home.

Weather remains seasonably mild. Witness photos posted above that Jim took earlier this week.

I finished LeCarre’s A Delicate Truth. It ended too abruptly. So did Most Wanted Man. Well he’s getting up in years. I suppose when he decides a book is over, it’s over.

I have Colm Toibin’s Henry James book lined up next.

I ran across a writer who has been fired from the University of British Columbia. His name is Steven Galloway and he is a bit of a lightning rod. He’s written varied novels - one about kids playing hockey, one about Houdini and one about the cellist of Sarajevo. The real cellist of Sarajevo complaint about being put into a novel. The author grew up in Kamloops. I will have to keep my eye out for some of his books.

I feel a little buttoned up. I do not feel like putting emotion or anything else out there. I want to be private.

I need to buy some milk today. I need to do some laundry as well. The table is cleared off from yesterday’s dinner. I need to have more company. More meals. Sure I do. Oh and I need to take a bath. I need to buy some shampoo.

I am looking forward to saving this entry and seeing what if anything I’ve written on previous November 25ths. Ingenious idea of Simple Mind, to put anniversary entries on the right side of our current entries. Bright man, that Simple Mind.

Tell me what you want. Tell me what makes you happy. Tell you what you could have if you could have anything. Inspire me, please.
