Writing today. Because I’m in that emotional place of so here’s some NoJoMo… but honestly… I would much rather you read my 3 AM ENTRY and my MONDAY NIGHTMARE entry.

What “trade” do you wish you could learn (carpentry, electrician) and how would it make your life easier?

Genuinely, it would be amazing to be an electrician. Because so much of the world requires it that it would be steady work. But more… I could rig the entire house to have all sorts of cool things.

Where in the world would you live and why?

Difficult question in today’s world. Wife would love to move to London and I can’t blame her. I would love to move to Cork, Ireland or Osaka, Japan.

But honestly… if we could move to Ames, the Des Moines Metro Area, Cedar Rapids, or Cedar Falls… we’d be happy. An area where there are people, people we know, shopping opportunities, modern amenities… someplace with a population north of 50,000 people.

What historical event would you have liked to have witnessed or have been responsible to?

Rather tough question. All things considered I would have to say either the Coronation of Queen Elizabeth II (1953) or The rise of the Shogun at the end of the 12th Century in Japan.

Which professional athlete would you be if you woke up and had to be them for two full weeks?

Tiger Woods, no question. His wealth, his luck with the ladies, and his sport would make it the perfect choice. No deep physical trauma issues just a relaxing game… and I could set aside some of those millions for myself for when I reverted back at the end of the two weeks.
