I had a good dinner from Christ United Methodist Church. Dinner consisted of turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes and green beans. It also came with a role and cranberry sauce. It cost $8 and was well worth the price.

I am doing ok. I had a good nights sleep with no weird dreams. I feel pretty god today. I slept in until 6:30am. Upon waking up I had fixed coffee and then did dishes I hit the books and been reading all morning. I am almost finished with this one book The Idea of America: Reflections on the Birth of the United States by Gordon S Wood. I hope to finish it this afternoon. I don’t know what I will start reading next.

I am still staying away from the news. I get too upset reading about Trump. I cant help picking up bits and pices I saw a couple of articles on Yahoo about what Trump might do with Social Security. He intends to privatize it. Then I saw on my Facebook news feed a news story about how he intends to slash Social Security. It made me sick looking at the headlines. I could not read the whole story. It made me sick thinking about it.

I did read this one article about this college professor. He predicted every presidential election since 1984 He correctly predicted a Trump victory This same professor is predicting that he will me impeached within a year. He claims that Trump is a lose cannon and very unpredictable. A Republican controlled Congress will impeach him on grounds of national security violations. One can only hope.,

But no news for me and nothing about politics. I get too upset thinking abvout it. I hardly have the tv on. I concentrate on my history books Reading about the past comforts me. It takes my mind off my problems and I’m not thinking about the present situation. Reading is the best form of escape there is.

Chocolatechip’s ex husband came by yesterday. I met him outside. I gave him ten dollars. He said he wanted me to have the five but he really needed the money. I didn’t want to argue with him. I gave him my last ten. Then he calls up Chocolatechip. He is trying to put me in a bad light He said I don’t give up. He was the one who changed his story. I think he was just playing games with me all along. He likes to play his games. Oh well I gave him the money and I am not sorry about it. It will be a long time before I ask him for a ride again.

It is about the middle of the month and I am broke. I am usually broke around this time anyway. I have everything I need. Rent is paid, Comcast is paid, I have food for the month, cleaning supplies and money fore meds. I have plenty of books to read. I am fairly happy and content. Life is good.
