I am slowly getting used to the idea of a Trump presidency I haven’t thought about it too much. I’ve been isolating myself from social media, news and the internet. I just did not want to hear anything about that asshole. But I am getting over it slow but sure. I know I can’t hibernate for the next four years though that is my inclination. I am fighting this tendency and starting to listening to the news and getting on the computer again.

I had a good day yesterday. I spent the morning reading. My worker came yesterday and she fixed a good breakfast and cleaned my apartment. The bug guy from Roe Pest Control came and checked for roaches. I already had traps out. He put jell in my cupboards I told him I hadn’t seen anymore roaches. He was very nice and professional.

I went out yesterday afternoon. The van driver took Chocolatechip and myself to Wal Mart. I did a little bit of shopping. . I was glad I had somebody with me. I didn’t buy a lot two cases of pop and a jar of creamer Van driver waited for us and she took us home. I was glad to get out and glad to get back home again without having to wait.

Arthritis is acting up. I am having pain in my right knee. I stand up and it hurts like hell. I move it in the wrong direction and it hurts like hell. Even when I try to stay off it I am in pain. God it hurts.

Since not getting on the computer or watching tv I have been doing a lot of reading. I have been reading this one book The Idea of America: Reflections on the Birth of the United States by Gordon S Wood. It consists of a series of essays and lectures the author gave over the course of his long career. What he writes is way over my head at times but I am enjoying his work. I am currently reading an essay about the radicalism of Thomas Pain and Thomas Jefferson Very interesting reading

Well back to my book.
