I took the boy to Madame Tussaud's (Pictures) in Day to Day

On Friday I took the boy to Madame Tussaud’s because it was a day off school for him, and the dragon had to work. Normally a trip like that would have involved the dragon of course, but she has an irrational fear of waxwork figures and they genuinely freak her out.

I have to say, some of the figures at Madame Tussauds are very realistic indeed. In fact, I stared at Pablo Picasso for quite a long time before I convinced myself it wasn’t an actor. They currently have a Stars Wars exhibition which is very good. You even get to drive the Millennium Falcon with Chewy. And there is a 4D cinema. You get squirted with water and all sorts.

After Madame Tussauds we went to Hamley’s Toy Shop, which is always fun, and had a wander round Westminster. It was a very good father and son day out. I don’t very often get a chance to do it.

Yesterday at work Rob caused much hilarity because he announced that he had visited the gym before work and his underwear was stolen. He thus spent the day commando. Today he has come to the office without his laptop. The general consensus is that he will lose his car tomorrow.

Did you see the Walking Dead last night? You know what, despite being a huge fan, I felt they almost went too far last night. I’m not going to put any spoilers in here. I reckon Negan is going to get wasted by Rick before the end of season 7.

I think the clocks go back this weekend. I hate that.
