Let me point out an obvious doublestandard.

Trump says he wants to “grab women by the pussy”, and it’s waved off as “locker room talk”. That statement was just the icing on a misogynist clusterfuck cake. It’s not like it’s some isolated incident - There’s reams of videos showing how Trump has no respect for anyone except White Males.

His wife has naked pictures taken of herself over a decade ago, and GASP, she sets a bad example for little girls!

…Why has it never been pointed out that Trump sets a bad example for little boys? The news definitely is agasp at every hateful thing Trump has said during his campaign, but never is it put in the context of being a bad role model for little boys.

I’m going to say something that may blow your minds. I may be a flaming liberal, but I actually want Trump to succeed. He has run one of the most divisive campaigns in modern history. But as soon as he’s sworn in, in my mind, he gets a clean slate. Because “President” Trump hasn’t done or said anything yet. Whether he nukes Ohio or gives free handjobs for all Americans, what he actually does remains to be seen. Because if it isn’t obvious yet, it’s clear he doesn’t stand for a damned thing.

There’s more I want to say, but I think I was more concise in the exchange that got me thinking. It’s a public entry, but I still blotted her name out of respect.

Nevermind that somehow her consensual nudes are bigger news than Trump being accused of rape by multiple women. One of these things is not like the other.

Also: The First Lady has no real political power. She just has a large megaphone; not every First Lady chooses to utilize it. As with Trump, I will judge them for their actions of the next four years, not for their past.
