Thursday ….
Shopping day for me is usually a Thursday, Fridays are always busy to avoid the Saturday crush; I arrived in Truro on the 22 bus at 12:50’ish!
This gave me some time to wonder out side of windows and behind, I’ve got it sorted now how I go on both sides of the glass with out spending, I keep my hands in my pockets; or like today one hand in a pocket and the other on the shopping trolley.
After my wondering I made my way to Tesco’s with a list of sorts in my head, not quite as reliably a pad and pen; but me and my head manage in a way.
I must have wonder through Tesco’s as I had in Truro, I found myself at the till at on the hour and only 15 minutes to catch the bus, the Lady in front went through every thing slowly so I was filling my trolley at five passed. Getting out of Tesco’s with my trolley in one hand and in the other Tesco’s is a trick.
I set off with out looking at my watch and kept going, making my way as fast as I could across Back Quay and on my to the bus station, I followed the last man in the queue into the bus! It was after at lest six or seven seconds after the hour when I left Tesco’s and arrived at the bus at thirteen or fourteen minutes after the hour, so I must have covered the distant in six or seven minutes; a record for me with a load!
Friday …..
On Friday I was out shopping for Ziggy and Lola, this is a two-bus trip with the 22 from home to Truro and the 18 to Pets at Home just out of the city, my trolley had some weight in side it, five frozen cool blocks to keep the frozen dogs raw meat frozen!
I go to a out of town [City even] shopping park, it’s on of the main routes in and out of Truro where I would expect a good number of buses passing, in reality there seems to be a few buses as I seem to wait 20 minuets. This time I went an other shop, it has a good range of things I’m not buying but there a very handy loo, then I went for the frozen food, two packs of minced beef and two small packs of blokes of meat bone and vegetable food.
My hanging about had worked out nicely, I was waiting at the stop for just five minutes when the bus arrived, the rest of the trip into Truro got me at the bus station with just ten minutes before my bus set’s of to home.
That evening Lola was up the stares with me, I reached for the G12 camera and then I picked up Lola for a photograph with me …..
Lola had other ideas, Westie’s don’t do selfise’s …………!!
Saturday ……
When I got home with the dogs food I found I had picked up a pack beef lumps, so I had only one pack of food for Lola, Westie’s eat to fast so we feed her food easy to eat, so I a had a second trip to Pets at Home, this time I had time enough to visit Tesco’s; Lola’s food was closed in a bad with five cool packs ……
Sunday …….
Sunday began sunny and dry, even the air was warm by November’s passed, for those outside for Remembrance Sunday the weather was just right; our Queen was their to lay her wreath on the Cenotaph.
She is Ninety now and still carries on, if time has not aged any one it is the Queen, slower may be but always their where she needs to be; one leader who will not shame her country.
Monday .
Today I have been with busy a brush, I have finished painting the Church railings, there is a little touch up here and there before the weekend; then Grampound Road Church celebrates 150 years.
Taken on Sunday Morning when just the tops were painted, know all the railings are finished; don’t look to close!
I didn’t know until last Sunday – yesterday! Still I’m up to speed now at the best speed I can manager.
