Can I get a Hallelujah! in Day to Day

It’s Thursday, but I have a day off tomorrow. Can I get a Hallelujah! And let me tell you what I am going to do with that day off. I’m going to take the boy into the city and visit Madame Tussaud’s. There are many reasons for this. The dragon has to work and we had to think of something we could do without her. And since she is oddly freaked out by wax figures, it seemed like an opportunity bordering on a sign from God. Also, I haven’t visited for years and I sort of want to go. I also have a free adult ticket from the side of a cereal packet.

I’m hoping that it won’t be too crowded because it’s a school day for most children. The boy has a special day off for teacher training, which is also why the dragon has to work. We also have a family rail card, which coincidentally expires tomorrow (yet another sign from God) so we can get a cheap train ride into Paddington.

In other news, I worked from home yesterday because I wanted to see the boy run in his cross country race in the afternoon. He came first in his school and 15th overall in a race of about 180 kids, so I was a proud daddy. The school did very well in general.

Stuart at my office has brought chocolate cakes in because it’s his birthday. I feel a bit sick.

I wanted to leave the office early today because I have a ukulele lesson, but I can’t because some bell-end has arranged a 4pm meeting. Going to see if I can wrap that thing up by 4:30 and get my dimpled arse out of there for the weekend.
