isle be there in poetry

Everyone says
oh God if the Professor was so smart
why couldn’t he fix a boat
if he was so smart
why couldn’t he built a raft?
He was on an island paradise
with an elderly couple
a gay couple
and two beautiful women.
The Professor was smart enough
to NOT build a raft.
Sometimes intelligence is
what you know not to do.
Intelligence is knowing
how not to use a nuke.
Intelligence is knowing
when not to build a raft.
Know when NOT
to build the raft.

Enjoyable to read...clever, pulls us in...if it were mine, which it isn't...I'd cut the final couplet. Just a note from another poet who possibly has spent too much time in workshops over the years.
