So That Happened... in meh...

I was waiting for the bus to go to school. There’s a guy walking his dog. A puppy, but a big puppy. So cute and fluffy.

Puppy wanted to say hi and I was looking at him smiling because he was cute. Dude walks off with puppy. Puppy stops walking and looks back at me. It was funny.

I told the puppy, “I promise I’m not lonely.” And the dude laughed and headed my way and the puppy started bounding.

So I laughed as they got near and he said, “He’s really friendly. You can pet him if you want.” I said, “Hi there baby,” to the dog, to his owner, “I see! I was just saying I wasn’t lonely, but he was determined that I was going to pet him.”

This was actually bad for me to do because for some reason, I’ve not been able to be around dogs lately and not have my breathing effected. The last time I was with Ms. Crazy, her little Havanese wouldn’t get off me. Once before, another friend has 3 dogs and one of them wouldn’t let me go so I had to sit there with him on my lap and rub him. It was cool, but still. With all of those instances, I’ve walked away thinking I had something in my throat and my breathing became weird. No bueno, yo. So this confirms it. Maybe I am now allergic to dogs. Which is sad because I LOVE dogs. I don’t want to take care of anything else after all of mine are out of the house, but I want to totally be selfish for a while.

Funny. I saw the guy and his puppy again this morning. My bus rolled by and they were, I’m guessing, coming back from their walk.

Gbaby had homework last night. But since his mother didn’t give a shit to look in his backpack, we did it this morning. I’m adoring the fact that he loves school. When we finished his homework, his eyes got big and he said, “I did my homework!” I love this. And he’s so smart. We had think of words that began with “w” and he came up with 10 of them. He’s so inquisitive. He asks how to spell everything, he’s always asking questions and I explain as best I can so that he can understand. Sometimes he’s fascinated, other times he just says, “Oh.” lol

I love that kid.

That’s all for now.
Hope your day goes well.

Kindest regards,
Sister
