Friday Morning in New Diary

I made it out of my box and back home. Connie, the van driver, picked us up at 9:30 She drove up town to the city garage where she got some gas. Then we went to the bank.. I took out my $94 and then we went to Three Springs Drive. Anne stopped at her eye doctor’s office to pick up her transition glasses. Then we went to Wal Mart

This was payday for a lot of people since the first falls on Saturday. WM was not too busy. We stopped t the service desk. I put $33 on my Wal Mart debit card which cost me $3.18 Then we went shopping. I only bought a can of Maxwell HOue coffee, creamer and a case of pop. Chocolatechip picked up a few more items It was raining and we waited inside for Connie to pick us up.

I am glad to be home. I swear I hate leaving my apartment., Maybe it is me but I sense a lot of animosity towards from people. I was down at the bank this morning and the girl who; waited on me did not seem friendly at all. I could sense that she gave me a dirty look. It was the same thing from people in Wal Mart. People who waited on me were very unfriendly. Then I got really anxious waiting for the van to pick us up. I was glad to get home.

What made me anxious was thinking I got short changed. I got $94 from the bank. I have $37 left. I put $33 on my debit card. This cost me $33.18, This left me with $60.82 My purchases at WM came to $18.70 This should have left me wit h $42.12 I have $37 left There is $5 I can’t account for and it is driving me crazy. I am thinking somebody ripped me off someplace

Oh well Perhaps it is easy for me to get confused in my old age. Maybe everything is all right and it is all in my head I don’t know. Maybe I am not figuring it out right and am missing something. I know I am missing something. I am missing $5 Oh well I am not going to worry about it.

I am glad to be home. I don’t have to go out until Monday when I get my Social Secu4rity.

I feel pretty good today despite losing $5 I am not depressed. Remember the positives 1 I have a roof over my head. 2 I have food to eat 3 I have a wonderful fiancé in Chocolatechip. 4 I have clothes to wear. 5 I have insurance that pays for most of the cost of my meds. 6 I have phone, internet and cable tv. 7 I have plenty of books to read. 8 I am not hooked on alcohol or drugs. 9 I am in good health 10 I have a worker that comes in and cooks breakfast and cleans. 11 I have an SSI nd Social Security check 12 I am debt free 13 I have a wonderful support system in Healthways

:Life is pretty good. There is no reason for me to be depressed. Keep focusing on the positives
