wouldn't it be nice in poetry

You are not perfect, I’m sure of it,
but you’re probably perfect for someone.
You’ll be perfect because of your strengths
not despite your weaknesses
even though you’ll always have weaknesses
it’s just that someone will need
your strengths in their life that
you’ll figure out how to work with the rest.
It won’t be easy
nothing worthwhile is easy
nothing worthless is easy either
everything is difficult but that’s okay
everything is sliding toward entropy
entropy is not completely inevitable
but you have to put intentional work in
you have to disorder a whole lot of things
for the energy to make one thing just shine.
You have to shine.
Together you will shine.
Together you will overthrow entropy
for at least a little while.
You will be perfect together with work.
You will be perfect together with style.
Be open to being appreciated
despite how much you know is wrong with you.
Be open to being loved.
It can happen.
Maybe even some of us can get lucky twice.
Wouldn’t it be nice?
