Eating your own cake!

Stepping out this morning October had came in just like October, it was very cool with a blustering wind and short bursts of rain, the early dog walkers were coming in wet; I was of to Church and had missed the rain.

We were having a coffee morning to raze money for the Cornwall Air Ambulance, I have promised to make two cakes and I did, taking the cakes out the centres collapsed and had holes through the centre; they were ok to eat but not up to sale.

To cook two cakes at the same time I used two deeper baking tins, I think I over filled the tins – I think I have leaned to not over fill the tin, I will buy some smaller low baking tins; I suppose this is how we lean. I’ve had two slices of the cake with a hole in the centre, tomorrow I shall take the other cake so the Church to have after the service.
