Back at Work in meh...

So I think I have clocked in enough hours to make my check look great. However, with all the stuff I have to pay it kind of doesn’t matter.

I actually had fun working on a not so normal work day for me. We were fed with Rigazzi’s on Saturday. Security Drew made this southwest meatball soup that was very good. Had to use some salt for it, but it was great. Salad, sandwiches and then the work.

I got to see a former coworker who was volunteering, she and her husband. He plays Santa during the holidays. Saw a bunch of my coworkers Saturday.

Sunday I was on the phones.

I sent my dad a text on my way home Sunday. He was like call me tomorrow. So I did and didn’t get an answer. Typical. Miss Crazy needed to do that rode trip thing again, which isn’t really a road trip because it’s about 20 to 30 minutes away from my house even though we went to Illinois. Took the boys because afterward, she was taking me to my dad’s. I found out there was some cooking going on and I was like hell yeah. I’ve been whining about getting some barbeque from someone’s house for the longest. Going to a cookout and being with people. It was a good time. I got to see him and he’s doing well. I spoke with my mom too after not being able to get in touch with her. I love my parents.

In the meantime, the weather has been great. Got a little warmer on Sunday, but by the time I got off and was on my way home it seemed a bit more humid. Now it’s back to being ugly like it was and I developed pink eye. I still have some medication from the last time someone in my house had it. It just felt like I had something in my eye and it wouldn’t come out and it irked the piss out of me. lol I didn’t really sleep well but woke up and realized that’s what was going on. That means Little Foot can’t sleep with me, I have to change my sheets and such, well the pillow cases.

What else…I spent a few moments talking to my step mother a while about my daughter and getting some of that off my chest. When I texted my dad I told him, “Sorry I’ve been out of pocket. I’ve been going through, but wanted to touch base. I love you very much.” So he asked if I’m okay. As much as it will get. He’s a soldier. Being a minister and a funeral home director/mortician he’s always busy and on the move. He needs his quiet moments. Wish I had seen him disappear because I would have gone upstairs to talk with him instead of step mom, but I get it. I’m like him in that sense.

I’m going to get a refund and it looks to be a nice one. So I have stuff to pay off and get on some kind of even footing. So I think. I’ll at least be able to get a new phone.

And that’s pretty much all I got on it.
Will get with you all later. :-)
Take care.

Kindest regards,
Sister
