Outer Banks, here we come! in In the Kingdom of Suzu

Jeff could not get the whole day off, so we (including the Princesses L and M) left at 12 and drove half-way and are spending the night in Pocomke City, MD at a holiday inn express that we have stayed at before. There is a nice restaurant/bar in town along the river and if you are lucky enough, the drawbridge might go up while you are eating. We are going to stop at MIL’s for lunch—she lives about an hour and a half from the banks and since we can’t check-in til 4 that will be nice. The princesses’ mom and SD along with my cousin and his wife will come Sunday as my daughter and cousin’s wife have to work Saturday. The princesses are swimming, Jeff is relaxing in the room and I am here—I think it will be an early night.
