This feels strange to be scribbling an entry at nearly 11pm but if I turn on the laptop in the morning I usually end up wasting the whole day by not being able to turn it off.

Anyway, last Friday morning I found an email from the library. The book! The book had arrived! Liam Dog and I left immediately to go fetch it. A quick walk downtown and right before it got hot outside.

Saturday Daughter returned from the farmers market and told me about a new thing they’re doing. With some kind of grant they are matching the first $25 in gold coins purchased with the EBT with $25 worth of silver coins to be used only for fruits and veggies. A very good deal.

I’ve found another show to watch, recommended by DeFranco on youtube- “You’re the Worst”. I watched the first couple of episodes and was hooked. I binge watched the first two seasons and then found out that there will be a season three starting Aug. 31st. Nice. It is one of those stupid funny shows that has a nice undercurrent of darkness and seriousness. Damn good dialog and fine actors. Gretchen kind of reminds me of Nancy Botwin. You know, one of those 30-something women with brain issues?

And of course, I just watched the latest episode of “Mr. Robot”. It has been renewed for a third season, so yeah, I’ll be waiting for that. Probably two more episodes for this season.

The book? Yeah, the book is pretty intense. Maybe a few more days to finish it and then I can digest it a bit. I’m liking the theory so far. And I can understand the animosity and fear the established careerists have of the theory.

I’ll be sure to discuss it further. After I finish it.

So yeah, nothing much going on around here. Just waiting for the weather to cool off a bit so I can start walking again. I’m pretty sure Liam Dog would like that too.

Over and out.

I was going to share a humorous picture but photobucket is being a dick tonight.
