Thank-you, brain in Stuff

I had a sex-dream about my lifelong straight crush, Jason, last night. That hasn’t happened for a long time.
It seemed too real. So, so real.
I opened my eyes and had to think whether that just happened or I’d dreamed it. Then I thought, “Of course I had to have dreamed that. As if that would have happened.” LOL.
I’d woken up earlier on and went back to sleep, as it’s the first day of my weekend. Boy, oh boy, am I glad I did.
I was in the bathroom and thought to myself, “Thank-you, Brain.”

Work was rather a crappy week. Not great but not overly bad, but more toward that bad side. I think it was just constant catch-up, which isn’t anything unusual. It went fast though, so that’s good. After last weekend in Sydney, I’m just glad to be doing nothing. On Saturday morning when I started, my store manager gave me a big box of chocolates as a thank-you for working so hard. So that as well as the gift-card from my department manager, wow! It’s a round box of Celebrations, which I know we sell for like $25 lol. I’ve been enjoying the ‘galaxy’ chocolates in it, because they are the rare ones. It used to be called ‘Dove’ chocolate and I was obsessed with it, but then it got discontinued. When I was over in the UK, it was everywhere and I ate way too much of the stuff.

I finally dismantled the fish tank. It had been sitting there with water in it with no fish for months now, and I wasn’t gonna commit to fish, so might as well take it down. I told myself I will reassemble it when I get my own place, if I can ever afford to do that. I dunno if I will. Fish are such a boring pet. Sit there and watch them. They could be good to entertain my future cat(s) though.

I’m seeing Margaret Cho on Thursday night. She’s on stage at 8pm and I usually finish work at 8pm on Thursdays, so I asked my manager if I can start and finish an hour early, which was fine. Woohoo! I sent a text to Vish, James and Carly reminding them when and where it is. James had forgotten lol. Geesh.
I think this will be the 4th or 5th time I’ve seen her? I’m looking forward to it. I’ll be impressed if she doesn’t repeat any jokes, but given how often I’ve seen her now, I’ll forgive her if she does.

Ride-sharing apps (Uber and the Aussie one, Go-Catch) became legal in my state today! This is a long way from the stupid fines they were handing out to drivers since it first arrived here. The taxi industry has been outside parliament protesting all day and I personally think they are wasting their time. They’ve been getting away with terrible customer service and rip-off prices for years. Change your business for better competition, idiots!

That James guy who was going to be a potential new housemate in this house has started at my work. Andrew informed me that he’d already found somewhere though because he was too busy working to get back to him lol. I told Nick and he said it’s a shame because he’s cute! Which he is haha. Surprised to hear Nick say something like that, as I didn’t think he was into twinks at all! Andrew said he has ads still up so might hear something soon. It’s been months since Alex moved out now. I only heard from him the once when I sent him a text to ask if he’d gotten his bond back. He was a strange one.

Anyway, boring entry. Read the Sydney one, that was more interesting lol.
