some old damned book once said
“when I was a child, I spoke as a child
I understood as a child, I thought as a child
when I became a man, I put away childish things”
but when I was really a man
not just an adolescent aping the paces of adulthood
I took those childish things back out
because they’re awesome
because screw societal norms
we only get one swing at this life
not that many years at all
love what you love
what I’m saying is
I’d make a bad Corinthian
because if you can’t odd
well then I can’t even
