well. i mentioned in a recent entry something about homeless people. Homeless people are just people they just.don’t have anywhere to go. and they’re houseless cause to me home isn’t a place it’s a feeling. I have an aversion to the word ‘home’. uh but anyway.
so. i don’t like it when i’m like on the bus or walking and i see all the cars at the stoplight and they’re just ignoring the homeless guy.a lot of people won’t give them money and i get why but at least say something. i mean how would you feel being ignored? yes i mean you personally the person reading this. i’ll give them money if they ask or sometimes even if they don’t ask. also that way you’re not wasting your damn time w/ the petition people. uh no one talks to you for a reason. it’s like ‘hey do you have money?’ and the person says ‘yes’ or ‘no’ and that’s it everyone’s on their way. also i don’t carry food around in my purse so. and sometimes they don’t want food. and i don’t have enough to buy them and myself food every time i see them. But I was thinking about it recently and maybe it’s the bystander effect. or something like that. The more people that are around the less likely they are to help. People won’t give them money cause some of them spend it onn alcohol. right and how is that...........oh cause they don’t have anywhere to live so the person probably thinks the homeless person should spend their money on something else. it’s a little different than the boss paying their employee only to have that employee spend it on drink..........after drink.........after drink..........after well you see where this is going. and I’m not saying every employee does that cause not every employee well.does that. no i’m just making a point.
i read this online recently and i might have mentioned it here i mentioned it.somewhere. i think it was on boredpanda.com. anyway. it talked about homeless people. and this one guy well he saw these drug dealers get arrested and they had their dog w/ them. and he ended up saving the dog. well the dog was sick and he’s like ‘ok i have enough saved up but only for the dog’s health for him to get better’. so he became homless in order to help the dog get well.wow. And they say dogs are humans’ best friend but ya know maybe sometimes we’re theirs. so ya just don’t know.
yeah so i’m pretty big on not ignoring homeless people. all the random homeless people i’ve talked to have been nice and the ones that don’t seem nice well.i don’t talk to them so. also 2 of my good friends have been homeless so. er or houseless rather.
