Tomorrow morning marks a week that we’ve been left at home. We as in Liam Dog, Asscat, and I. The youngsters took off last Friday morning for a week or so in Colorado. They are on a mission.
Less than ninety days to the conclusion of this current chapter of the shitstorm that is this election. Don’t kid yourself, if that dumbass G.W. Bush can get elected to two terms by a clueless population there’s no reason that one of these two current disasters can’t get elected. I believe we’re fucked either way. How did the two least favorable and unsatisfactory candidates in American history wind up at the top of the only two tickets?
I’m just glad that the republicans have finally met the demise the dumbasses deserve. Both parties actually.
I’ve been trying to mow the front yard with the reel mower. The grass is getting too tall and refusing to dry enough. I keep whittling away at it. Bit by bit.
I’m still browsing sailboats. I’m having no trouble finding good “starter” boats in the proper price range (below $20,000). A bigger, newer boat would be fine, except harder to sail single handed. And the older boats were built better and stronger.

I’ve only been browsing the west coast. The Pacific Ocean is the goal and a Panama transit is around $2,000. Plus, the Sea of Cortez looks inviting. After that a two to three week crossing to the Marquesas islands. That may be far enough, for first passage. No “around the world” voyage. That would only lead back to here, right?
Anyway, I haven’t done much reading. I’ve been on the interwebs on youtube on sailboats. A good place to be.
Liam Dog is pretty boring company. He likes napping more than I do.
I’m still sifting through the possessions making a little, very little, but some progress.
Tangible things with intangible meanings.
Grasp that concept.
