so this is more.family related stuff.
So at the service there was a basket of pinecones that anyone could take as .....an item of remembrance. I took one and I have it on a dresser on my mom’s which was actually my grandmother’s dresser. but it’s now become mine. pretty soon i’ma get some of my stuff out of it and put it in a box. which i’ll keep.
also at the service. Macy a neighbor of my grandmother’s the pottery guy. well I told him i was a photographer ‘not professionally but yeah’. and he invited my sister & I to come see his gallery.thing some time. yeah when we see him i’ll bring 4 of my photos. print them out put them in a folder and bring them. oh so i have jennifer m. news talking about that.
oh yeah so at some point during the service my grandfather Bob [my mom’s dad] & I were talking and I go ‘you knew her’ and he goes ‘yes, well. now i’m no dancer.........’ and i’m ‘you played cello’ ‘yeah you know that put me through college’. so yeah. oh so he and my mom’s mom met in the church choir. the same church my mom’s choir performs at sometimes.
so Carol & Truman are.my dad’s parents my grandparents. they’re both from Missouri and they met I think when she was working at a reception desk at a library there. her ancestors are german and his are scottish.
My grandmother met John Macdonald [the guy who was married to margie[ at a talk on eleanor of aquitaine. he’s from Wisconsin and some of his ancestors are irish. turns out. his........granddaughter either took dance or worked at the dance studio my sister worked at. yeah we were sitting there talking about this and he goes ‘you’re not talking about cherry creek dance?’. yes that’s the one.
my cousin Sarah was born in new jersey and Margaret was born in NC.
cousins/relatives news coming up!
