Guten morgen! in blackpropaganda

Back home after an excellent cruise - and able to spend time writing - on the ship you buy internet minutes - and the system is so slow that you can wipe them out without trying - so I just made sure I checked e mails, and kept an eye on some PB entries - and finished up 450 bookmarks - so I shall just look at my real favourites.
We were on a 13 day cruise from Belfast to northern Germany - spending time travelling in the Kiel Canal, and also the Elbe to Hamburg and Weser to Bremen.
We circumnavigated the UK - going through the Hebrides, round the Orkneys and south to the Kiel Canal, through it to get to Travemunde and Lubeck, then back again - all in the daytime taking in nature and people along the canal. Then to Hamburg - great city - then to Bremen, further south. All along the rivers which carry a lot of freight traffic.
Then back around the Channel and up the Celtic Sea to Dubin for a day - and back to Belfast - we flew over to Belfast fairly cheaply, and it was worth it because we wanted to get to Germany, and this was a good way - and there were excellent cheap offers from the cruise company since the takeup on the cruise had been quite low.
