New laptops are the best. I got my first one at the end of last year. Previously I'd gotten away with buying a second hand suitcase-sized laptop in 2003, then using a clunky old desktop all the way through to 2008, then being given hand-me-down laptops from my sister and mother. Had a new netbook in 2008 that came free with my phone, but those things suck. So my new laptop was wonderful and marvelous and all of those things.

Well, at least for about a week, until I got it smeared with greasy fingerprints and scratched a chunk out of the case.
