So my dietbet winnings were a bit of a joke. I won $6 lol. But if I had lost I would have lost $133 so it was still important to win. Now I’m thinking the smaller bets are probably more profitable because people aren’t as afraid to lose out on the money. I think when I was losing the baby weight from Miles I won a couple dietbets that were a $30 buy in and my winnings were around $45 so much better profits. But still not much money in the end.

I bought the boys bunk beds last night! I have been looking around on different websites for a while trying to find a nice looking set that wasn’t a ton of money and finally settled on a wooden set in espresso from Walmart that had decent reviews. It took me a while to decide on that set and then I posted it for a group of friends on facebook and 2 of them had the same set and said it was great. Should have asked them about it long ago.....like before I spent 10 hours researching the best bunk beds I could afford lol. So I picked those up last night at the store as well as a couple of mattresses. We are celebrating the boys’ birthdays with Mike’s mom and Grandma today and I asked them to get twin sheet sets and comforters for the bunk beds so hopefully they get Batman and Thomas or something like that. Saves me from buying them and they didn’t know what to get the boys anyways so win, win. And they always give gift receipts so if it’s not what the kids want I can always switch them. Not sure when we’re going to put the bunk beds together. Mike always gets frustrated building stuff and I’m kind of dreading how the transition is going to go with the boys but it will be cute to see them up.

I was bored one day this week so I took the kids to Walmart and I let the boys use a $100 Walmart gift card they got for their birthday from my brother. Cody picked out some paw patrol truck and dog and Miles picked out a small Thomas track that is kind of a rounded rectangular shape with a motorized Thomas train. Plus we got some new coloring books and pencil crayons. Beyond that I only got a small pack of diapers and a $4 outfit for Summer and that was the whole gift card used up. Mike said I could have just used that gift card for groceries or something but I know how awesome it is when you’re a kid and you go to the store with your mom and she says you can pick any toy you want. The boys were so excited and it took way too long for them to make their final decisions of what they wanted lol. Finally Summer started fussing so they picked and we got out of there. But they have been playing with their new toys a lot so it’s all good.

So, as I said before, we are going one town over (45 min drive) to see Mike’s mom and Grandma today to celebrate the boys’ birthday with them. They haven’t seen Summer since she was born so it will be nice to see them since she’s 3.5 months now. I pumped her a bottle and she’s resting now so hopefully she’ll be in a decent mood when it’s time to go. I’m going to try to time it so she’s tired when we leave so she’ll sleep instead of scream in the car. Hope that goes well. They should have a cake for the boys and we are going to a nearby park that has a carousel and little train as well. It’s a holiday here today so Mike is home. We’ve spent the last 2 days cleaning the house and not doing much so I’m just glad to get out of the house :)

Baby is awake and crying. Gotta run!
