I developed a gray fog and spots and/or floaters,in mid July, shortly after my annual eye exam. The exam went well nothing noted. I also paid extra, apart from the insurance, where they computer scan and take pictures inside the eye, looking for Macular degeneration, Retinal problems etc, all came back clear and normal. The spots were like in the old TV days when there was snow on the screen.

I went back in August and was referred to an Ophthalmologist at the U of Colorado Health Center. They saw it as well but could not make a determination. So, I was scheduled, for eye surgery,on September 9th. The Doctor will take a biopsy, remove floaters, and send to the lab. After the surgery, she told me you’ll notice an odd circular shape inside your eye. It is a gas bubble to keep pressure up and help the eye punctures close and heal. I saw her the next day, for a post op follow up. All was good. I see her again on the 7th, and I guess they will know what it is.

My gas bubble is shrinking. Vision is good. It was done on my cataract repaired eye. She said we don’t want to touch the left unless they absolutely have too. I have another cataract developing there, but it is not bad enough. She said that could accelerate it, to where the procedure would have to be done.

Will update as I know. Enjoy the rest of the Labor Day Weekend.
