What shall I sell next? in Life as a Mom of 2 boys.....and a girl!!

I’m having so much fun selling stuff today! lol. I decided to look around the house for stuff to sell to make some money since we need to buy the boys birthday presents this week and I’ve made $210 so far. Still looking for stuff to sell cuz it’s fun and addicting. I’m going to look what condition my wedding dress is in because honestly I don’t think Summer will want to use it…girls like to get their own dress, you know? I could probably get at least a couple hundred for that. I feel like we’ve been spending a lot of money this summer because we like to take the kids to different places and it’s not cheap so this helps. I bought the kids and I passes to African Lion Safari too because it’s a great place to go for a few hours even. It has an awesome splash pad, a little train ride, a boat ride and animals to look at of course. We’ve only been once so far. I would have gone yesterday but Cody has a cold.

We took the kids to see Thomas the train on Sunday and I was kind of freaking out when we woke up because Cody woke up not feeling well and all of a sudden he had a bad cold. The tickets for all of us cost something like $115 and it was something we bought the boys for their birthday as part of their gift! He ended up being well enough to go so we went but he was a bit extra tired and weak (he wanted in the stroller so the baby had to get out lol. He’s almost 5!!) The boys loved the experience and it was cute to see Miles really excited this time because he is more into trains and Thomas than anything right now and the last time we went he was only 11 months old so of course he probably doesn’t remember it. I don’t really see how Cody could have been feeling too sick though cuz he jumped on the bouncy castle for a while. We asked “are you sure you’re up to that?” and he said yes so I don’t really think he was tooooo sick. Just babying it up a bit lol.

Cody is so weird about this cold. He’s acting like it’s the first cold he’s ever had or something. He was crying over everything yesterday and saying like it was tragic, “Mom, I can’t smell anymore!!” lol. He hasn’t had a cold since the winter so maybe he just forgets what colds are like or maybe it’s particularly hitting him this time? He seems extra tired and has a slight fever now and then for the past 2 days but he’s still been playing most of the time so it can’t be too terrible. He’s definitely eating less and his eyes are droopy and his voice sounds really weird because of how stuffed up he is. Poor little dude! I hope he feels significantly better by Saturday cuz that’s when we’re having the boys double birthday party. I’m going to load him up with Vitamin C as much as I can, push fluids and have him go to bed a bit early and I’m hoping that should do it. This morning was only day 3 of this cold and he’s like “I still have this cold Mom!!” like it should have gone away by now lol. In my experience you’re lucky to get rid of a cold like this in a week so I’d guess he’ll have it longer than that. Crossing my fingers that the rest of us don’t get it!!
