Friday was my first weigh in day and I lost 3.2lbs this week! So I’ve gone from 211lbs to 207.8lbs. Hooray! Sounds good to me :) And I didn’t even hit my 10,000 step goal every day. My eating was perfect though. I actually only ate my 1800 calories one day I think and the rest of the week I hovered around 1600. And I wasn’t starving or anything. It all depends on what kinds of things you eat. I actually hate eating out now because it’s just not worth it calorie-wise most of the time. I eat a meal and end up still being hungry and yet the meal is mega calories. Sucks. I prefer to eat my own stuff at home.
Oh and the dietbet that I joined that was $100 was American so it’s actually $133 (I noticed this on my credit card) so I HAVE to win now. I can’t lose that kind of money right now when I’m penny pinching! I never buy myself anything these days cuz pretty much all of my money (reduced pay because of maternity leave) goes to bills. Although I’m probably going to buy myself a used fitbit because I’ve had mine for 2 years and the battery sucks. I have to charge it twice a day. A couple days ago I wanted to go for a long walk in the afternoon and my fitbit was dead so I didn’t go. I know it still counts but I still like to have my steps counted. I contacted customer service and they were like yeah your battery sounds pretty bad, we can give you a 25% discount on a new fitbit if you buy it off of our website but that’s it (cuz my 1 year warranty was up). Bleh.
We are headed to a zoo in Niagara Falls today that I think I’ve only been to once. I found a good Groupon for it (normal price is $31 and I got tickets for $19 each) so I thought sure let’s try it. I’m sure the kids will love it and it’s something to do. I’m just hoping Summer will be good because she doesn’t like to be in the stroller for long if we’re just strolling slowly or stopping a lot so I’m guessing I will be carrying her a lot and yesterday she didn’t even like the baby carrier (it faces in and she wanted to be facing out). So yeah, real fun. Plus I will have to nurse her while we’re there which I don’t generally enjoy doing away from home. I’m looking forward to the day though :) Just have to watch what I eat. I’m really praying they have salads there. Maybe I will pack myself a sandwich just in case
