I guess the work-week is going fast. The dock-guy wasn’t in today, so guess who had to do his job as well as mine? I was soooo far behind today because of it but not much I can do. I printed some tickets and left work on time, but I took the tickets home to rip them up so I can put them straight up in the morning. It’s the first time I’ve ever brought home ‘homework’ from work, and I vowed not to make a habit of it. It’s just so time-consuming and I wanted them out of the way. I basically barely got much of my own job done today, as truck after truck just kept arriving. The driver’s had a go at me because I lifted the dock lever off the truck whilst they decided to walk on it. Apparently it’s a big safety issue and they told me about a guy who broke both his legs etc etc. My eyes were actually glazing over because they just kept going on and on. I know it’s safe, they just didn’t have anything else to talk about. Besides, the dock guy wasn’t in, someone has to do it, and I was so focused on trying to get back to my own work that I didn’t want to stand around being chastised. I get it. Blah blah, let me do my work lol.

Some lady was staring at me when I was outside on my break. I actually thought she and her friend were lost, they were standing there for that long. So I asked, “Are you right?”
She just kept staring at me for another few seconds and turned around and walked off.
LOL. Righteo then.
I then realized how I had worded what I asked. Just as well I didn’t add “There” to the end of it.
“Are you right there (ya fucking staring mole)?” :P
She probably thought I was having a go at her rather than being genuinely helpful, which I was. Anyway, I thought that was amusing.

Today is Vish’s birthday and I’m going to his birthday dinner tonight. His boyfriend is organising it but I still have no idea where it’s going to be. No text yet. His boyfriend was messaging me yesterday asking if Vish would prefer a mango or a red velvet cake. I suggested that a mango cake would probably be a cheesecake, wheras a red velvet would probably be a sponge, but i dunno. I said both were good, so I guess that’ll be a surprise when I turn up tonight too.

I have no idea what to get him. I should probably head into the city and get him something.
