Vote for funnies.. in blackpropaganda

So, I have done my democratic duty - voted in the referendum - and I just hope it goes the right way.

I wonder if the storms and floods in London will affect the turnout there - but much of the country has been fine - the weather is always a factor which has to be brought in when it comes to elections. I would guess a lot of people are voting because they do feel it will make a difference - whereas in many parliamentary elections there are built in majorities for one candidate or another. Just yes or no here. Guess which was I voted!

As for the soccer in France - all four teams from the British Isles in the competition got through to the knock-out rounds. I would guess the last thing the Republic of ireland team would want is to be in the British Isles. I wonder how many people have worked out that Northern ireland is a totally different country from the Republic - and the only part of the UK to have a land border with a EU country.

The great thing is that Iceland (with a population of 300,000 or so are also through - and play England. Could be a tricky game.
Anyway - no soccer until Saturday night - just the ‘excitement’ of getting the referendum result at 7 am tomorrow morning. Not sure yet if tomorrow will be a good or bad day!
