It was a soft slap.
The other weather as settled in now, we had threatening sky’s for a two or three days but just had the odd light short rain, our friends next door when to the Royal Cornwall Show and any outside event that stats Royal is bound to be wet; they spent the day dashing from shelter to shelter and when they got home it was bed at 8.30 …..
I wanted to go into Truro this morning, but I had ordered a Garden Box to day, the devilry window was 7am to 10 pm! I was told that the driver would phone to give me a smaller window, as it turned out he arrived at 10am’ish so I had a window to go shopping this afternoon.
So I had the rest of the morning to put my kit together , like my Airfit aircraft kits I enjoyed 55 years ago; its just that kit is much larger. On opening the box there were six large parts and six very small, the main different it that Airfit gave you very good instructions …..
I spent fifteen minuets getting the instructions and the parts the right way up, after that it was a matter of slapping the right part to the other right part together, assembling took ten minutes most of the time was me being carful and slapping the clip joints together.
My lawn mower and it’s bit are now in the box now, now I don’t have to tie up a plastic sheet round it in case of rain, I cut the grass on Sunday so I will not the mower for a week ….. See, just a gentle slap did the job!
