alrite no need to insult me [again]/so apparently i'm weird [yes again] in yes i'm aware it's 2016.

‘alrite no need to insult me. so i was outside the mall today. well i’d put my sunscreen down on a ledge thing opened it and had applied it. a perfectly normal thing to do. well so then this lady comes by. so i took my sunscreen off the ledge.thing cause i didn’t want her to say anything about it. and it’s not even that she’d say something bad i just. well unless you’re asking for directions, complimenting me, we’re in a bar or you’re someone i know please don’t talk to me. well apparently that was the wrong thing to do. [yes here i go]. she got less than a ft. away from me and was like ‘are you ok is someone w/ you?’ ok exactly how young/low functioning do you think i am? like lady i’m 28 godamn yrs. old. and so i told her firmly ‘no i’m good’. and even better before you decided to ask me that.

and honestly. and i’m not being insulting here. but if i were that low functioning i wouldn’t’ve been able to answer her q much less answer it the way i had/did so.

and it comes off as insulting. like oh i’m not intelligent enough to be ok. i wouldn’t go up to like.a blind person or someone in a wheelchair ir any other person [my sister, my cousin, a friend, someone at starbucks.......] and be like ‘do you need help is someone w/ you?’. for that exact reason. um well they’re not 2 so they probably don’t ‘need’ help. as that sounds patronising. they might want it or require assistance. maybe it’s a good thing i’m not a verbal person. see the thing i like about guys is they don’t do this. a lot of people would be like ‘oh it’s nice that she cares’ well not me. things were fine when they were left well enough alone. ‘
