You know the weather’s fucked when the kanga’s are ducking for cover.
A lot of Tasmania is being evacuated, so I heard today. The area I went hiking in over a year ago where I did my video blogs back on OD, is now completely underwater. It’s absolutely surreal to see.

Here is the video of that too.

My shift today went pretty well. It was basically working the entire freezer and my hands were completely numb by the time I went on my break, so I was rubbing them on opposite arms trying to regulate the temperature back to normal. Anyway, a hell of a lot of count were wrong. Nothing unusual there haha. Man, if people would just keep on top of shit, things would be much better. That shouldn’t have taken me the entire 5 hours, but it did, working 4 cages, auditing what was left and cutting in the new lines and tickets. At least it’s done now and the shift went quick. Management were confused to see me there on a Wednesday haha.

Meanwhile, Meryl Streep is fucking amazing. LOL.

I got a refund from that company in the UK for my dodgy portable charger I’d bought. He just wanted the site where the tracking details were and once I gave him that for him to confirm, he refunded me what I’d paid, so that worked out well.
I also received an email response from Paypal saying they’ll refund $45 (that’s their maximum) of the $51 in postage costs I’d paid, but I’ve been checking my accounts (Paypal and bank) and that one hasn’t arrived yet in either, even though I received their response earlier than I did the seller’s. I figure maybe it just takes a while because it’s through an insurance company, but I’m sure as hell keeping an eye out for it and hoping they haven’t just forgotten about it.

This will be a big work-week for me. I’m not used to working 5 days straight anymore. I used to be!

I’m not sure if I’m going to stay with my work’s mobile. I’ve been trialing it over the past month comparing it to my Optus mobile and it beats it on speed and price, but I feel like it won’t offer enough data for me to last the month using it every day. I’m tempted to try out Kogan’s offer because they seem to offer the most, although I’m pretty sure I can’t buy Kogan credit in the supermarkets/stores. Will have to check on that. I’ll see how long this credit lasts before I’ve used it all up, and if it’s absolutely lame, then I’ll have to change providers again. I’m not watching long videos or downloading anything large, but I do use it to write and post here and whatever photos I upload from my phone etc. I get the impression that if they offered slightly more data with the prepaid plan, then it’d be perfect.
Then again, maybe I just spend waaaay too much time on this internet thing.

Speaking of, anyone who happens to use Snapchat, check out the ‘Everest’ Story on there today. It’s breath-taking! :D
