I'm back! in In the Kingdom of Suzu

After almost two weeks of no internet, it sure feels good.
About two weeks ago our internet went out–no big deal as it happens when the weather gets quirky, meaning possible storms in the area-----it kept trying to reset itself and I did all our usual “tricks” for getting on-line, to no available. Finally call our internet provider because by this time I have figured out that the modem is bad and in the past, they just sent us a new modem—not this time. ” we will have to forward this to our higher tech support and we will let you know w/in 2 business days”. Of course it is now closing in on the July 4 holiday. The two business days pass, no response from them so I call and lo and behold a tech is going to be in the area tomorrow and will check things out. I tell them, thanks but no thanks, we are cancelling and going with a new provider who was able to come today and things are much better. Now get this, the “higher tech support” came out, called the house and said, our lines our fine, it is the modem! Duh! That is what we were telling them all along! Once before we had this problem and they sent a new modem w/i two days, not this time. Oh well, they lost a long time customer and we have better service. Long story short I am back things are great and will catch up as I can. oh! And Jeff got an iPad, he is moving into the 21st century!
