A mater of buying the right Card! in The odd entries from life …….

The last day or two I’ve watch some of calibrations for the Queens Ninetieth Birthday, I watched one of the BBC programs looking back 90 years, the format was to have members of the Royal Family watch film of the Queen from 1926 through to today.

Some of the footage was film taken by the Queen, that and other news film was shown to various Royal Bodies on a huge television, even in parts of Buckingham Palace it looked something of a monster. As a program it was something of a Curate’s egg, a few were rather strait.

Charles, Prince of Wales knows how to be alive in front, and brought live to his parts and with his mother, the two Prince’s Harry and William also Duke of Cambridge both did well. With Queen Elizabeth II, Prince Charles, Prince William and Prince George of Cambridge should I hope take the Monarchy through to 2100 AD.

After watching Queen Elizabeth’s birthday on television and in the news I suddenly remembered something Mum said some years ago ‘I’m as old as the Queen’ I’ve been saying Mum will be 89 this year; I was wrong! I shall have to go shopping for a 90 Birthday Card come September!

Also Mum is not as fit as the Queen, at 90 and 94 the Queen and Prince Philip are go on quite well, I quite like living in a Monarchy; Presidents come and go but Queens and Kings stay the cores.

I told you my memory was leaky …………..
