so right. japantown. So on our way to japantown we bumped into this little Japanese lady w/ blue eyebrows going up the hill we were going down. She had her dog........in a green covered stroller. yeah weird thing about SF: people put their little dogs in strollers and purses and carry them around w/ them.like no one walks little dogs there. yeah so my mom asked the lady where japantown was and the lady told us and she said something like ‘be careful.......the shopping is expensive’ as though she’s telling us to be careful cause of the witch.or something. she was funny.
So when we got to japantown well we got to the peace pagoda area. This guy’s dog was enjoying his day running back and forth chasing the ball. Well the dog wasn’t paying attention to where he was going and bumped right into me.and then he stopped.like ‘oh i guess i should stop there’s a person there’.i was ok just surprised. like ‘oh hello’.
Right next to the pagoda area was the mall.well in the mall there’s the dollar and a half store er section of the store. My mom thought that was so funny. oh and they sell these things called chair socks. so the chair’s legs will be warm. no um it’s so the chairs either won’t scratch the floor [um.but that’s why people get carpeting for their floor. people and their weird obsession w/ noncarpeted floors. as you can tell i’m not a fan] or so the chairs aren’t so damn loud on uncarpeted floor. like at Target in their little pizza hut area.it’s so quiet there but the chair’s insanely loud when you move it and then you’re all afraid to move it cause when you do you get all self conscious.well i do.like i feel like everyone’s looking at me.
So after japantown [i know i’m repeating myself here] we took a cable car ride.they’re loud. We talked to this nice asian lady. yeah the people are nice there. They have 1 or 2 big breaks things in the car. er i mean the cable car. like well they have them in cars too but they’re covered. and on the cable cars they’re right there uncovered. it was like history came alive on that thing. like that’s how people used to get around back in the day and they still do. [we don’t have those in denver we have the lightrail.although evidently at one point we did have cable cars].
more coming! [of course again]
