.... I don’t seem to be doing anything else.
So…
1: What eye color do you find the most beautiful ?
I don’t pay a lot of attention to eye color. Dark brown gets my attention sometimes though.
2: White milk, or dark chocolate mocha?
I’m not a big milk drinker either but when I do something healthy, I am more likely to drink ‘white’ milk.
3: If you could get a Sharpie tattoo on your back, what would it be?
A deep deep quote but I’d want it somewhere I could see it too.
4: Did you grow up in a small or big town?
I’ve lived almost forever on the same farm. Here eternally at my mother’s formica kitchen table.
5: Your favorite adult as a child?
Ahh, not sure. I had good parents. I had good teachers. I had a good life. But if I had to pick, maybe Miss Blake who brought a lot of the world to my country school.
6: What kind of smoothie sounds really good right now.
I’m not a smoothie person but I would not turn down any fruity one.
7: Most embarrassing moment from your elementary school years?
I don’t remember and I don’t want to remember.
8: Most embarrassing moment from your middle school years?
Pretty much the same answer as the previous question.
9: Most embarrassing moment from your high school years?
I remember this one and I am absolutely sure I don’t want to talk about it.
10: Pirates or ninjas?
I am not into fantasy.
11: Have you ever climbed a tree more than twenty feet off the ground?
No.
12: Did you like swinging as a child? Do you still get excited when you see a swing set?
I liked swinging and I still do. Been a while but I would do it again if the opportunity arose.
13: If you could have any pet in the world, illegal or not, what would you get?
I am greatly attached to Gracie. I don’t believe in illegal pets. Legal ones are enough trouble.
14: What’s your most favorite part of your body?
I like my hands. They do things.
15: What’s your favorite part of your personality?
I am patient and I keep going. I also don’t like to complain. And I’m generally happy.
16: Madonna Lady GaGa ?
Neither. Athough..... I know who Madonna is.
17: Have you ever watched the Superbowl all the way through?
I have never watched any football game for more than five minutes. They drive me nuts.
18: Have you ever watched any major sporting event drunk?
I don’t think so.
19: What’s the most delicious food you’ve ever eaten in your life ?
I like potlucks. There’s always a variety and it’s never the same, though you can usually count on finding your favorites.
20: Margarine or butter?
Butter and olive oil are my greases.
21: Whole, skim, 1%, or 2% milk?
We started out with milk. I guess I buy 1% out of habit not out of conviction.
22: Which continents have you been on?
Just home, here, NA.
23: Do you get motion sickness? Any horror stories?
I got it easily as a kid - I was a very messy traveler. Now I can get it but rarely do. I do not like being in a car driven by someone else who is going around curves too fast though.
24: Backpacks or satchels?
Satchel is not in my vocabulary. Makes me think of the Paige man. I’m thinking I might like a backpack for my little bits of traveling. I will have to check next time at Good Will.
25: Would you wear a rainbow jacket? A neon yellow sweater? Checkered pants?
None of the above.
26: What was your favorite cartoon growing up?
Bullwinkle and George of the Jungle. I also liked Super Chicken. One of my all time favorite quote is from Super Chicken - You knew the job was dangerous when you took it!
27: If you had to have a cow or a pig, which would you take? Why?
I have cows and I had pigs. I enjoy(ed) them both. They are interesting and tasty but they are a lot of work. Takes a lot of to feed them too.
28: If you had to look at one city skyline for the rest of your life, which would it be?
NYC is my fantasy city.
29: Longest plane ride you’ve ever been on?
Either MN to Vancouver or Vancouver north - not sure which is longer.
30: The latest you’ve ever slept
I don’t know. I can sleep a lot when I have the time.
31: Would you buy a sweater covered in kitten pictures?
No.
32: Do you pick at scabs?
That is not a nice question.
33: Favorite kind of bean? Kidney? Black? Pinto?
I like all beans.
34: How far can you throw a baseball?
I’d like to think twenty or so feet.
35: If you had to move to another country, where would you move?
I’d go to Canada. Or maybe Ireland. Somewhere they spoke English and they’d take my debit card.
36: Have you ever eaten Ethiopian food? Vietnamese? Korean? Nepalese? How was it?
None of the above. I’m willing to try though if I ever have a chance.
37: Small, liberal arts school or public university? Why?
I sent one kid to a state school. It was a struggle for all concerned. I think two years in a community college followed by two years in a public university is the most practical way to go.
38: A relationship with love or one with sex?
Love is more important but sex is very nice.
39: Do you eat enough vegetables?
I like vegetables and I eat quite a lot of them but I could eat more.
40: Do you like horror movies? How about thrillers?
In a word, No.
41: Would you scratch a crotch itch in public?
Oh God, is this after I pick at scabs or before? Or are the scabs in my crotch?
42: Do you swear in front of your parents?
I can’t anymore and I never did when I could. I do swear in front of my kids though.
43: Coolest thing you’ve ever been for Halloween?
I’ve never dressed up for halloween after grade school and I never did much then. I do not like that holiday. Sorta like Thoreau, I question dressing up for occasions.
44: If you could change your natural hair color, would you? To what?
I’ve thought of adding blue and black streaks. Jim said I’d have to find a hair dresser with a sense of humor and he didn’t think there were any.
45: Did you want to get married? Have kids?
I wanted to get married - sort of. I did not particularly want kids but I realized they came with marriage. I do not regret marrying or having kids though I should have waited longer to do both. I knew that at the time too, but I was stubborn and I wanted to have my own way.
46: Do you use a reusable water bottle?
I freeze them half full of water and then fill them from the faucet at home. I do not like ‘city’ water.

I have always lived in the country. I enjoy privacy and being close to nature.
48: Have you ever used something other than “makeup” as makeup?
I don’‘t even use makeup as makeup.

I wore heels a little bit in my distant youth but I quit doing it as soon as I could.
50: Post 5 awesome things about yourself. BRAG AWAY!
1) I have a large collection of books.
2) I am fair at doing sudokus.
3) I like to work.
4) I am fairly generous.
