when I was a young but never tiny kid
a vaporizer would’ve been a zap gun
in a paperback maybe a cartoon show
now it is a cigarette that
looks like R2-D2’s peter and
in the progress something is lost
so at least pour sap into your e-cig
tell everyone that you’re not smoking
that you’re just making vaple syrup
for Christ’s sake that awful thing
looks just like R2-D2’s peter, man
have a sense of humour about it
you took away my zap gun dreams
replaced them with a way to stay
addicted to a drug without
getting as much cancer maybe
at least let me laugh about it
