Booked in in Adventures in paradise

I’ve booked into my regular doctor on Monday morning, at 11:20am, which was the earliest available. Thankfully booking technology is a reality these days and I could just book an available time-slot online, much like I did with the dentist this time a month ago.

I just have to make it through tomorrow and tomorrow night. Lord have mercy.

Nick has one of his girl-friends over. Juuuuuuust what I need - her hearing me hacking my lungs up from my room lol. At least he’s playing some nice music.

Andrew at work was being a bit flirty with me today. Marty was asking if I still went to gym, and I replied, ‘Yeah when I can breathe properly!’ and Andrew answers Marty’s question with, “Of course he does. Look at him, he’s hot as hell, nearly busting out of his shirt.”
I thought that was nice, considering I literally look like death-incarnate and have lost 4 kilo’s since being sick. I’m actually teetering below the 91kg mark.
I’m hanging out for this damn docs appointment. I don’t even care if he’s like ‘Just get rest’ because at least I’ll know what to do. I am hanging out for some hardcore drugs though. Like I’ll take a horse tranquilizer at this point, even. Just shove it in, doc.

Man, I’ve copied over a few more of my OD entries from 10-YEARS AGO, and I’m up to the part where I asked out my ex-boyfriend (fuck it sounds weird referring to him as that term because it was forever ago) for the second time. Holy shit, I’d forgotten I even did that! Haha, thank God for having written a diary back then. It’s absolutely insane to think about that part of my life with him. It’s like a complete alternate world to how things are nowadays, with that same guy wanting to play tennis with me on Monday, 10 years on. And I adore his current boyfriend, whom he’s been with for at least 4 years now!
Just blows my mind how much can happen in that amount of time. Beau and Dave (and Shane) still live in Brisbane, and Reece moved to Melbourne many years ago now. The drag queens I mentioned in the entries seem to have disappeared.
Unfortuntely, I somehow feel I still won’t be well enough to play tennis. You know, unless I want to have a cardiac arrest on court.

I’m also meant to have my final dental appointment on Wednesday, but I doubt I’ll be able to stop coughing enough to go ahead with it. Great. Just have to wait and see.
