An early Easter means you take a chance on the weather - and we have had strong winds, heavy showers - and more forecast for the next two days - thank goodness we are not away on holiday somewhere in the UK.
Anyway - Happy Easter - and remembering this is where Christianity combined pagan practice of celebrating the Equinox and new life with Christian theology.
The Bunnies have taken over from the Resurrection as the main image of Easter.

And while we are thinking about Risings - today they are commemorating the centenary of the Easter Rising in Dublin - still a controversial issue - but one linked to sacrifice and resurrection - in this case a new Ireland.

Still, the clocks sprang forward overnight - and I was not caught out - my radio alarm changes automatically - but I have spent some time altering various appliances and clocks around the house, It should be lighter in the evenings from now on.
