A busy day - and all good for the health!
First of all a walk on nearly two hours through the woods - well not all in the woods - we detoured to the place where we were to have coffee/tea which meant crossing a m,in road with fast traffic twice each way. Given that there were 30 people walking, some of whom do not take much notice because they are chatting it is amazing we all got across safely every time.
Home to have a light lunch - and then off to ballroom dance for 90 minutes or so. Slow waltz and tango today - and in the main we did all right.
So my feet need some TLC - any offers willingly accepted.
And a superb evening meal tonight - fresh trout fillet, chips and peas. Not difficult to cook but a wondrously fresh and tasty trout - succulent - and washed down with a small glass of white wine.

I added to my signature dishes last night with a ‘fast chicken chasseur’ which had been on the Lorraine show on breakfast tv yesterday morning. Instead of chicken thighs I had bits of chicken breast with no skin - and with the ingredients, bay leaf etc a very tasty dish rustled up in 25 minutes - the diifference in my version was cooking potato in the dish as well. Nothing better than using a slice of bread to mop up the gravy.

Meanwhile in the larger scale of things I am even more pissed off about the ‘arguments’ for and against the EU - and I am sure the majority of the British people have stopped listening. And it would seem that the reason for Trump’s success is that he is articulating the views of those who have been forgotten - it is not enough to wave the flag - however, can he deliver?
Anyway, let’s have a few jokes
