Every time a democrat says, “I like Bernie’s policies; but Hillary is more electable” a Trump Supporter buys another hat.

Article Highlights… sure they are objectionable but… I really do wish this election was more about Policy and Government and less about Electability and Name Recognition.

“Trump is the one Republican almost any Democrat can beat; Hillary the one Democrat Trump can beat.”

” One reason for all the tactical thinking is the paralysis of government; if you think nothing will get done, you focus less on policy. Polarization’s another; if you hate their party more than you love yours, what matters is picking a winner.”

“Democrats prefer his (Sander’s) policies to hers by wide margins, forcing her to pretend to adopt his. She benefits from kindly MSNBC anchors and apparatchiks posing as analysts on CNN — but what helps her most is every network’s obsession with tactics. The moment the race turns into a referendum on policy choices, she’s finished.”

“Voters want political reform and economic justice.”

“Trump is a total fraud and a ticking time bomb. Clinton helped build the system voters want to tear down.”

What really worries me about the American Political System as it is being seen currently? In many Caucuses and Primaries, ONLY registered Party Members are allowed to vote. In other words… if you are an Independent in America… in many places, you’ve not been allowed to speak. These days, that means a lot. I would never register as a Republican because of a bevvy of reasons. I would never register as a Democrat because of a bevvy of reasons. But… with an independent spirit… who do I like more? Bernie Sanders. In most of the Bernie Sanders wins so far, he has won because of Independent Voters. Because the people that despise the politics of the Status Quo are the ones that (often) register Independent. Accepting billions from Wall Street and claiming no allegiances to them sounds hollow and deceptive. So people abandoned Party Ship. Claiming to be against Big Government but wanting the Government in control of everyone’s personal choices sounded Orwellian and foul. So people abandoned Party Ship. America doesn’t want Trump. America doesn’t want Clinton. But Americans aren’t being given the voice in many of these polls and so called victories. Party Members are being given a voice.

It is like TV and Cinema anymore. The people that make the most money off of the films are the ones that select which films get made. If the Cinema Going Audience wants a certain type of movie… they have to wait for the choice to make that movie. In so many industry magazines there is a discussion of “Why people aren’t spending as much at the movies” and it rarely turns to “Quality of Film.” Because… CGI has gotten better and we have more explosions. But not everybody wants explosions. Same thing is going on in American Politics.

“In America, median wages have been stagnant for more than 40 years. In Japan and Germany, it’s been 20 years without a pay rise.”

Why Aren’t Salaries Growing More?
