the roar of borealis
lions streak the sky
burning up in mating dances
blazing for some reason why
you can steer your ship by the stars
you can run off to follow your heart
but you aren’t going to get very far
if you keep all your dreams in a jar
a risk when you let yourself believe
with the target right on your sleeve
flaming out like the northern lights
these frozen days
the lonely nights
