what a day.. got to the gym, had a good workout and a nice sit in the sauna.
Why are the gym showers so amazing btw??

Took hubby out for a treat date to a place called Humble Pie Kitchen for a taste of (his) home, which was AMAZING! flaky meat pies, he had Steak n Cheese, and I had Beef stroganoff and mushroom.
The gentleman running it is a Kiwi who moved over about 5 years ago, and one day had a hankering for Meat pie, and we didn’t have anything here that was the same, so he made some, and then started a shop. We only just found out about it last week, and I think now it will become a monthly thing for us!!
We then came home and finished making chicken tortellini soup for supper in the slow cooker. While that finished up i checked may email, and am now awaiting for a second response from the office of a local elected official for an appointment for next week hopefully to go in and chitchat about Immigration. I’m not expecting miracles, but its nice to know the emails have gotten through to someone, and that someone is willing to see us and talk about it.

I’ll let ya all know how it goes ;)

I wish our gym showers were amazing, they literally stay on for between 1-3 seconds when you press the button, it's impossible to wash your hair.

I'm always amazed that you don't seem to have meat pies in North America, they're a big part of our staple diet, I'm sure Americans would love them!

Oh man. I'd love a meat pie right about now. Everyone just says, "Make your own!" but it's nearly impossible to replicate a good meat pie.
