Clueless. in A small but passable life.

Today was a record breaker. It was the earliest day in the year ever for the temperature to hit ninety degrees. I still managed a few hours lying by the pool. I’ve always loved the feel of my hide sizzling.
When I walked Mom yesterday down three lots for a breakfast block party I managed to drop her coffee cup. I had forgotten that I’d hung it on my pinky under the plate of blueberry muffins that I’d baked. Crash and shatter. I’ll have to buy her another one.
One of Mom’s girlfriends has gotten her out of the house a few times but she tires easily.
The financial changes are slowly working themselves through the system. I used my new debit card yesterday to buy the groceries. And all the checks have cleared through Mom’s old checking account. A little at a time. We’re in no hurry.
I’m usually in bed by midnight. I’ve been waking up about 5am, more or less. I don’t get up. I lie there in the twilight between full wake and full sleep. Semi-dreamland? Weird shit going on in the noggin. There is one point in time and space that I seem to keep ending up in. I’m not exactly sure where it is. Past or future? No clue.
Clueless.
That about sums it up.
