Got to go out. in A small but passable life.

Yesterday was another warm day at the pool. 86 degrees outside.

Daughter called yesterday morning. She said that gas prices had bottomed out at $1.18 a gallon before easing back up. Unreal.

Yesterday was also the date last year that I’d flown back home after wintering here. And then a week later I went to the woods for thirty days and then a week after that I was back out here.

I finished reading “Bazaar of Bad Dreams” by Stephen King. A nice collection of short stories. Now I’m reading a non-fiction.

I’ve remembered the term I was looking for: lucid dreaming. Some doubt there is such a thing as it is popularly defined. All I know is that I have developed it to the extant that I enjoy it. I’ve even been getting to the point to where I don’t have to have the perfect physical environment for it, such as a van in a quiet parking lot, a tent in the woods, or a silent house. I’ve returned to the same place in time and space, wherever that is, for the last several mornings in a row now. Next, I’ll try to travel on from there.

Anyway, Mom is wanting to get out so we’re heading out after I finish my coffee. She wants to go to Walmart. If we do go there I’m going to buy a coffee maker. I’m tired of the old percolator. We also need a new Britta water filter. Ain’t no telling how long we’ll be wandering around in there. I’m not looking forward to it.

Okay, one more cup of coffee and then Price is Right should be over and then we can go.

Whatever.
