Don’t send me flowers;
I don’t eat them
Bring me chocolate,
and I’ll take you under serious consideration

Why?
Flowers wither and die
It’s different with food
Don’t you agree that food makes us feel good?

Do us both a favour, honey
Don’t kill such beauties
by plucking them just for me
Why don’t we plant more trees?

I don’t eat like a hog
(and no, I don’t want to scare you that much)
but I do love chocolate a lot
If you give it to me,
that means you care enough not to make me go hungry
