Rain, rain - with Sunday fun in blackpropaganda

Is there no end to the storms - last week it was Storm Henry - tomorrow it will be Storm Imogen - and as I write the rain is belting down - thanks goodness we had two weeks of sunshine in Spain.

Actually the good thing is that without the really cold weather plants and tress think it is just about springtime - the snowdrops are out - we have crocuses - and I saw blossom starting to appear on some of the trees - a nearly imperceptible cloud of white.

We are back in the groove, from walking to dancing - and what seems the traditional meal on a Saturday evening - fillet steak, chips, mushrooms and salad with a good bottle of red wine. Today I am doing my signature cottage pie and drinking the second half of the bottle of wine.
