Sequins on your butt
Inspirational thoughts
Peace, peach, please, please me

Girl at work wore her black yoga-ish pants with the word ‘peace’ emblazoned across the back in silver sequins.

I thought wow. Think of the opportunities… glamour, communication…

What would you like to have people read as you walk by?

We had work today. Lots of work. End of the month makes it even more likely that we will work extra hours. It was only eight hours and the time went fast.

I came home and cleaned house. We have a new chair. It’s not exactly ours, more of a loan, or a stop on the way to somewhere else. When Jim went to pay rent to one of his landlords, they offered him the chair. It’s a beige recliner rocker and it has family history in the landlord’s family. They were willing to part with it though. I rearranged the ‘room’ so it would fit better. I made the table run east and west rather than north and south. It always was east and west until we changed it long long ago. Now it’s back to the way it was.

My idea of house cleaning is probably not the same as yours. I swept the floor - including the cellarway and the stone steps… and the laundry room - a little. I cleared off most of the table and polished the formica. I totally did dishes. Washed them, let the dry and put them in the cupboard. I did a couple loads of laundry. Oh and a sudoku and a half.

We thought of going to a hockey game - we went to one last year - and thought one a year would be good. But on second of so thought it seemed like too big a project. So we’re staying home and I’m listening to Prairie Home
Companion.

The first Logger game isn’t til June 2. That seems like a long time in the future but of course it will get here.
