4pm. 74 degrees here. 28 degrees back home. Daughter hasn’t called yet. Probably because she knows I’ll laugh at her.

Anyway, the flight was good. Only a half hour late landing. The plane had to be de-iced before take off.

My cousin and his wife picked me up at the airport. They had circled around a half dozen times waiting on me.

Back at Mom’s I settled back in.

This morning after coffee we headed out for errands. Mom had a blood draw and then we went to Mickey D’s for lunch. No, not the fast food McDonalds, the hometown restaurant that we think is the best place out here. Mom had the shrimp special of the day and I had chicken fingers and clam chowder. We had to bring half of it home. So good!

I had to stop at Ace Hardware for a few things. I dropped Mom off at home and then I went back out to the grocery store.

We had to venture out again for a 3pm appointment. We drove a half hour, couldn’t find the place, turned around a few times, still couldn’t find the place, said to hell with it and came back home.

Mom called the place when we got back to the house. No, she hadn’t brought her phone.
Well, she had directed me to the wrong street and besides, the appointment is actually for the 28th!

I may be able to get to the pool tomorrow afternoon.

And yep, the TV is on.
